Moving right along...

I have been busier than usual. My social calendar is fully booked. Weekdays, weekends, busy, busy, busy. I'm not sure what, why or how it happened but I haven't had a free moment for the last 3 weeks. The weeks to come aren't going to be any less busy so... Yeah, that's just the way it is. Dinners, lunches, friends, family, fika, bikram.

Work is crazy insane busy too. Sometimes I find myself so busy with so much to do that I just sort of freeze... What should I prioritize, where should I start? Next thing I know my computer screen goes black and that's when I realize... I froze up again. Luckily, I know it will pass. The craziness comes in intervals and that's ok with me.

So, I guess the big news around here is that Tony and I are taking a solo trip to NYC! So frickin' excited I am nearly speechless. NEW YORK... NO KIDS!

2013 marks 10 years that Tony and I have been together (wha...) and we were thinking about traveling to somewhere more... well somewhere else like Florence, Rome or Paris but with a little extra cash (thank you annual bonus) and a few hours spent finding just the right deal we decided to go back to where it all began! We are most likely traveling back to New York in August as we have a place to stay already set up and to be honest at first that held us back. Who are these fancy people whom travel to and fro as they please and twice within 5 months! Really...?! but you know what, New York with kids and New York without kids are two totally different experiences! And, we work damn hard, we are not in debt and we don't splurge on much (unless you count my recent month of dinners, lunches, fika and bikram). So, yep we're doing it because we can.
